Activity description
Live your holidays in a different way thanks to this amazing wildlife expedition trip in Pico Island!
Lajes do Pico is a small town located on the south of the Pico Island, which is the second biggest island of Azores archipelago. The Pico Mountain is the highest mountain in Portugal.
During the two and a half hours excursion, your skipper will be in contact with a ‘Vigia’ or lookout that will guide you towards pods of dolphins that play and feed along the coastline.
Imagine yourself floating in the deep blue ocean of the Atlantic, watching and hearing dolphins in their natural habitat. Learn more about the species, enjoy the ocean and find yourself on this invigorating trip!
Before the trip, we provide a general presentation about the dolphin species, how to swim with dolphins responsibly in the wild, how to use a mask and snorkel, rules and how to behave around the dolphins and safety measuresaboard.
Join the team in Lajes do Pico Shop in Baleeiros Street, 5.
