Enjoy an incredible coasteering excursion and experience the combined adventure of swimming, climbing and jumping in the crystal clear waters of the Azores.
Explore the beautiful coast of São Miguel on a coasteering activity, which will allow you to discover all the nooks and crannies of the cliffs. Coasteering is an outdoor sport that gives you the thrill of several adventure sports in one. This activity takes place in Caloura, a village known for its microclimate, fertile soil and wonderful views of the coast, in the south-central part of the island of São Miguel, about 20 minutes drive from the city of Ponta Delgada.
Discovering the cliff above the sea is a totally thrilling activity that will provide you with a refreshing and adrenaline-filled experience.
If you have never experienced this before, you can still join in, this activity is open to everyone!
To start the activity we will do the equipment distribution and safety briefing. When we are ready, we will start our activity with a short walk along the coast through the jagged volcanic rocks resulting from the lava flows.
Challenge yourself on this adventure by exploring some caves, jumping and diving into the ocean, enjoying natural pools and inland bays. Several jumps of between 1 and 8 metres (some optional) await you.
Explore the blue landscape of the Atlantic Ocean while snorkelling, discovering and admiring the marine biodiversity of this place.
NOTE: If you are not comfortable with high jumps, there are alternatives.
