Before starting, you will be introduced to the basic techniques and safety rules. Then, your stand up paddle activity in Forillon National Park will start at Penouille beach, between sea and forest. Supervised by an accredited SUP instructor-guide, you will be in safe hands to enjoy the activity.
You will then paddle on warm and shallow waters around the Penouille peninsula, between the town of Gaspé and Forillon National Park. You will be doing stand up paddle in the heart of the world's largest estuary, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, where the river of the same name flows!
During your 2-hour guided stand-up paddle excursion, you may have the chance to observe the seals and seabirds that populate the Gaspé coastline. As the sun descends over the Appalachians, you will move around the Penouille peninsula, paddle in hand, admiring the orange glow of the sunset over Gaspé Bay. This will be an opportunity to get a unique view of the region!
