Activity description

A course designed for you to discover unparalleled adventures! Most of the people who have tried a Discover Scuba Diving Course, they follow the Open Water Certification to take their PADI certificate and become recognized divers. Even if you have never tried scuba diving before, you can still take an Open Water Course and become the diver you were always meant to be!

Open Water Course (PADI):

The Open Water Course will teach you the basic theory and skills to be able to dive down to 18 meters anywhere in the world! It takes 5 fun days to complete and you will be diving in different spots to discover different underwater habitats and creatures!

With this course, you will be able to explore the wonders of the aquatic world anywhere on the planet and follow the steps of Cousteau, the great adventurer!

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

The Advanced Open Water Course (PADI):

The Advanced Open Water certification has been designed for those who wish to take the next step on their scuba diving education. You need to have completed the Open Water Certification before. Over 4 days of courses you will be improving with your instructor different aspects of diving to be on the point of diving down to 30 meters.

There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get, vary according to your interests – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

Where will you be diving?

There are more than 10 different dive sites close to the diving center in Mirtos (reefs, caves, shipwrecks, wall dives, drift dive). The crystal clear waters allow the divers to enjoy diving with visibility even at 30m below the surface. You will be diving in Ierapetra, Agia Fotia, Makris Gialos, Arvi, Psari or the island of Chrissi.
