Activity description
Explore the beautiful island of Crete with a sea kayak excursion starting at Paleóchora beach!
Program
We start with a brief introduction to paddling a sit-on-top sea kayak. Then we jump straight into the adventure. We set off from the laid-back town of Paleochora and proceed to explore the coast.
Along the way, we will find a few tiny coves, impressive rocky cliffs, rugged hills dropping into the sea, caves of all shapes in the wall face.
After turning around the big cape, we will be greeted by the remote beach in Lissos, where we can have a break and visit the ruins of the ancient temple.
We will also dive into the blue and enjoy the element from an even closer perspective. We will have masks and snorkels with us so we can swim in wherever it takes our fancy.
Finally, we will arrive in Sougia, where our adventure will come to an end. We can sip a drink at the beach cafe in this remote fishing village, while we wait for the small ferry that will take us back to the starting point in Paleochora.
