Activity description
Kayaking or canoeing on the River Kupa is a wonderful way to get out in nature and enjoy a slower part of this magnificent turquoise river in Croatia.
Nestled through the Risnjak National Park, the summer months bring the best out of this river. No experience is necessary, these calm waters provide a relaxing and fun ride. On this tour, you will have time to enjoy the natural beauty of the Kupa which boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna as well as a cool refreshment from the summer heat.
Your experienced and friendly instructor will go over all safety precautions and explain how to use your equipment. Then you are ready to paddle! Depending on the water level, your guide will bring out either kayaks with double-sided paddles or canoes with one-sided paddles for the start of the activity. Both the quality sit-on-top kayaks and canoes provide stability and make this trip perfect for the whole family.
During the next 2 to 3 hours, you will paddle, swim, jump into the river, and rest on the most beautiful parts of the mountains bordering the river. For those looking for an extra challenge, the “grbajel liana” requires a little skill and fitness for added adventure on this trip.
