Come drive a team of huskies from Levi on this 10km / 6mi dog sledding tour. Discovering the Lappish scenery alongside these wonderful dogs will be a lifelong memory! Adventurers of all ages are welcome on this family-friendly excursion.
Levi is a popular tourist destination and ski resort located in Finnish Lapland, which is the northernmost region of Finland. Levi is not only a location for winter sports enthusiasts but also appeals to those seeking a unique experience in the Arctic Circle with its natural beauty, outdoor activities, and cultural offerings. Dog sledding is a traditional activity which is a fun way to discover the area.
For this tour, you will start by meeting your guide at the base camp in Levi (pick-up is available within a 10km radius, please specify when booking). Your experienced guide will take you through a safety briefing and dog sledding lesson. This unique excursion allows two people per sled to drive their own team of husky dogs. You will meet the adorable and energetic Alaskan Huskies and set up the sled!
Following your guide, you will set off into the snowy trails. The still and calm forest will create a peaceful atmosphere, as you take in the silence of this remote location. You will mush your own team through this winter wonderland, admiring the beautiful Arctic nature. Midway through, you will take a break. There will be time to capture some photos while enjoying the magical scenery of the Lapland surroundings. Hot drinks will also be served, while your guide shares facts about the huskies and their lifestyle. After you have warmed up, you will return to the husky farm, before saying goodbye to your four-legged friends!

Activity requirements
Sled drivers must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Please note that a minimum number of 2 participants is required for this activity to take place. If the anticipated number is not reached, you will be offered a full refund or the chance to reschedule.
