Discover the Haut-Chassezac canyon in Lozère, near the border with the Ardèche, with the experienced and qualified guide Yves Moquet!
The Chassezac is a tributary of the Ardèche river located in Lozère, between the Monts d'Ardèche and Cévennes parks. Its canyon is one of the best in the region, offering an intense and sensational course. On the program: swimming, jumps, slides and abseiling down waterfalls!
The departure of the Haut-Chassezac canyon is near the village of La Garde Guérin, not far from the lake of Villefort. The first "discovery" part is accessible to most people in good physical shape. Fun and beautiful, it allows you to spend a day that will leave you with beautiful images in memory without exhausting you.
The second part "adventure" plunges you in the heart of the gorges, between two 300 meters high cliffs. Still fun but more physical, it is also more aquatic. Some passages are really surprising! The Haut-Chassezac canyon unfolds in gorges that become more and more deep as you progress and offers countless surprising situations and passages.
Very playful, this canyon is also grandiose by the shapes and the size of its cliffs, which makes it a must for canyoning in Lozère and Ardèche!
