Activity description
Learn how to climb the Cacao Girls multi-pitch route in Vallorcine on the border between France and Switzerland, in the heart of the Alps!
Your mountain guide Martin Narcy offers you an introduction to multi-pitch rock climbing in one of the most beautiful sites of the Alps in Châtelard - Giétroz area.
Programme:
At 8 am, your instructor will pick you up in Chamonix and then drive to Barberine (Vallorcine) where is located the "Cacao Girls" climbing route at 380m above sea level. You'll experience an ascent on the beautiful pebbles of Barberine.
Cacao Girl has 12 well-equipped lengths and only the last 4 have real difficulties.
The first 8 lengths are quite luscious with a few steps in each length. The last 4 are more physical, especially in the 2nd length of this part.
The equipment allows you to climb these lengths without stress. The descent of the last 4 lengths is done in abseiling then you continue walking until the foot of the route.
