Activity description

Making fire by wood friction, setting up a safe bivouac, orienteering without a compass, climbing, baking bread ... This is what this survival course proposed by Eric, a mountain guide, has in store for you. Far from your everyday life, this 1 or 2 day course in Burgundy will totally reconnect you with nature.

With family, friends and colleagues, you will defy the law of nature and learn the techniques of survival in the forest. This group activity is accessible to everyone from 16 years old and does not require any particular skills!

It is above all an immersion and an initiation to wildlife in a magnificent and preserved setting. In complete autonomy, you will discover the way of life of the former trappers, professional hunters of North America. This survival course is also a way of relearning communication, cohesion, sharing and mutual aid with simple, effective and immediately measurable actions.

You will learn the techniques that will allow you to live in nature, in a changing or unknown environment to get by serenely:
-Protecting yourself from the cold, the wind
-Filling your backpack with the vital necessities
-Gathering and choosing wood of different sizes
-Flint fire technique without lighter or matches
-Bivouac and shelter technique
-Making bread, mulled wine, etc.
-Observation of the natural environment, fauna, flora and geography
-Getting your bearings, orientation, walking with a map.

This course is supervised by an Eric, a mountain guide specialising in survival techniques. He will help you discover nature in a different way for a unique and enriching experience.
