Apnea initiation in Hyères

Whatever your comfort level in the marine environment, come and live a new and enriching experience during a Blue Addiction Apnea Initiation. They welcome you to their centre on the French Riviera in Hyères!

This activity takes place over two half-days: an afternoon followed by a morning. After a quick presentation of the theoretical basics , you will learn how to get yourself in condition, notably through relaxation and breathing, for an apnea with serenity, pleasure and confidence.

You will discover the first sensations underwater. You will also approach the safety aspect and rescue techniques. Join Blue Addiction for a day of travel in the blue!

The afternoon is spent in the classroom and on the beach or under the pine trees to discover the basics of breathing and physical and mental relaxation. You will then learn the basics of the urge to breathe to understand its meaning, its usefulness and how to manage it. You will be amazed by the effectiveness of this advice during a few static dry breaths. You will then be able to start working on your diving technique from our video and see the key rules for safe diving.

The next morning will be spent at sea, leaving the boat to apply the techniques prepared in the morning with the kind guidance of your instructor. You will be able to make your first dives gently and discover the fabulous sensations of freediving.
