Activity Snapshot
Activity description
In the heart of the Jura regional nature park, you'll experience all the sensations of a canyoning descent in the Vulvoz mill canyon!
The canyon of the Vulvoz mill concentrates all the aspects of canyoning on a hundred meters!
Programme
You meet your instructor in St Claude in front of the Saint-Pierre cathedral. After 30 minutes of driving, you leave your car in the parking lot and you are equipped with neoprene socks and neoprene suit, a harness, a double lanyard, a descender and a helmet.
You are parked next to the river, so there is no approach walk. A short walk leads to the first jump which is quite technical.
Then, a magnificent slide of 8 meters opens in front of you and emerges in a limestone bubble from where the water escapes by a skylight dug in the rock.
Then at the relay, after installing your descender, 25 meters of descent puts you in a pretty basin (it is possible to stop at the last third of the descent and jump the last 5 meters).
Then, a path takes you back in 10 minutes either to the vehicles or at the start of the toboggan for a second round!
