Activity description

Try bungee jumping on springboard with Bun-J-Ride!

On the site of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, a village located between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, near Annecy, you have the opportunity to test the Bun J Ride, a new generation 50-meter high jump! The Bun J Ride is a combination of bungee jumping, springboard jumping and zip line.

Gain height, above an exceptional setting of Haute-Savoie: between the Aravis mountain, one of the most beautiful massifs of the Alps, and the natural lakes near the Mont-Blanc!

Course :

At the jump site, at an altitude of 1000 meters, you are equipped with a harness at the waist, to which two mobile cables are attached on each side. The start is at the top of the springboard, on the accessory of your choice. The springboard is about 30 meters long, which allows you to propel yourself in the air beyond 40 meters! You then return to the ground by the zip line.

Then launch yourself into the air in the heart of the Aravis Massif, a little paradise and a place of adrenaline for thrill seekers!

Bike aerobatics are done after the first bounce, in backward salto or, for experts, in forward salto.

Programme
- You will be equipped with a harness at the waist, which is attached to two mobile bungee cords that will follow you throughout the jump
- You will pick up speed on a 30-metres-long ramp and jump into the void from a height of 40 metres
- After 4 to 5 bounces, the system will be unlocked to get you down to solid ground on a zip line
- You will be using the bike that the school is required to provide, which is attached to your harness with a strap during the jump to make sure it doesn't fall

Tradition has its merits! A timeless classic, the jump off your feet is done off the edge of the ramp. Thanks to the static start, you are in direct contact with the void, giving you that vertigo feeling. You can also decide to build up speed by running before the big leap.

Here is the trampoline take-off bungee jump, placed at the end of the ramp. You can gain (even) more height, which will allow for spectacular aerobatics during your big jump.

The trampoline (regulatory) is there to facilitate all the aerobatics with both back and forward rotations.

Summer sled jump

The summer sled has four wheels. This is one of the most accessible jumps, but this doesn't make it any less impressive. You dive, while seated just above the ground, towards the void that you only see at the last moment, and then you make a monumental jump from a height of 40 meters, secured by two bunjee cords.

Although they are more difficult to achieve while on the sled, aerobatics are still possible after the first bounce.
