Activity description
Discover the highest peaks of the Mercantour National Park during a guided hike on the Grand Cheval de Bois loop.
You will set off in the morning from Allos, with an experienced and passionate nature guide from Rando Terres d'Azur who will be delighted to show you the most beautiful spots of the Grand Cheval de Bois loop throughout the day.
During your hike exceptional panoramic views await you with peaks culminating at 2838 metres. Throughout your excursion you will have the chance to observe in the best conditions the emblematic animals of the Mercantour mountain: chamois, ibexes, marmots, vultures?
It is a massif renowned for being the wildest in the metropolis, between the sea and the mountains ... Enough to delight lovers of the great outdoors!
You will need to plan a journey of approximately 15 minutes by car from Allos Village (meeting point).
