Activity description

Take advantage of the experience of Marc, local guide of Rando Terre d'Azur, to discover the exceptional fauna and flora of the Mercantour.

An early morning departure to observe in the best conditions the emblematic animals of the mountain: chamois, ibexes, marmots, vultures...
At the Encombrette pass,an exceptionalpanoramic view awaits you; and for the most daring among you, it will be possible to climb the Petite Tour du Lac (2693m) for an even more impressive view!

The Mercantour is a huge playground and discovery area, with multiple climatic and historical influences, and has a unique diversity of flora and fauna in France. It
is a massif reputed to be the wildest in the metropolis, between the sea and the mountains ... Enough to delight lovers of the great outdoors!

You will need to plan a journey of approximately 25 minutes by car from Allos Village (meeting point).

Nous avons suivi le chemin du col de l'Encombrette.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la randonnée dans le parc du Mercantour. Très beaux paysages, bon accueil et informations intéressantes données par Marc notre guide sur les animaux et la flore. Nous avons pu voir les marmottes , les vautours, la troupe de moutons , le berger Raymond et ses chiens. Les autres familles du groupe étaient bien sympathiques. Nous recommandons absolument de faire cette randonnée. Famille LE des Yvelines.
