Enjoy your first paragliding flight over the Chamonix valley from the Plan de l'Aiguille alongside an experienced pilot!
Kaïlash Parapente offers you the chance to experience an incredible discovery tandem paragliding flight over the Chamonix valley, departing from the intermediate station of the Aiguille du Midi, the Plan de l'Aiguille. You'll take off from an altitude of 2,318 m, giving you incredible panoramic views of the mountainous landscapes around Chamonix and Mont Blanc, while getting your adrenaline pumping!
If you've never paraglided before and want to give it a go, paragliding above Chamonix is highly recommended! The experience will stay with you forever and will not only make you want to go paragliding again, but also to return to the Chamonix and Mont Blanc region!

Take off at an altitude of 2,318 meters for 30 minutes over the Chamonix valley.
Course of events
- On arrival at the meeting point, you and your pilot will board the gondola for a 10-minute briefing on how the tandem flight will work.
- You will then make your way to the take-off site on the Aiguille du Midi, at the intermediate station at the top of the Plan de l'Aiguille, at an altitude of 2,318 m.
- After the usual preparations (untangling the glider, giving instructions to the passenger), all you need to do is take a few steps forward and you'll be in the air!
- Let's go for a 30-minute flight in the sky above the Chamonix valley: depending on the conditions, your pilot will always try to optimise the flight, and if you feel like it, he can perform a few acrobatic manoeuvres and give you an introduction to piloting.
- You'll fly over the whole of the Chamonix valley, skimming over the steep slopes of the surrounding mountains and occasionally having the chance to come across a golden eagle, chamois or ibex.
- You'll finish your flight a short distance below Chamonix town centre, where you'll debrief your experience with a smile on your face.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an adult accompanying them to the meeting point.

The meeting time for this activity is given as an indication and depends on the weather: please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed.
