Come and experience a beautiful day in the mountains in the Pyrenees National Park during a guided hike starting from Saint-Lary-Soulan!
The hike is an opportunity to meet many herds and to share a moment with the shepherds without whom the Pyrenees would not be the same!
Starting from Arreau, north of Saint-Lary-Soulan, you will spend a superb day in the company of a mountain professional who is passionate about nature!
On the programme, two guided hikes departing from Saint-Lary-Soulan:
- Discovery hike :
In the Pyrenees National Park (Aure valley sector) and the Néouvielle Nature Reserve, you will discover the numerous lakes left by the ancient glaciers and the extraordinary fauna of the Pyrenees: isards, marmots, vultures, eagles and why not the imprint of a bear in a mud puddle.
- Sporting hikes:
In the valleys of Aure and Louron, about thirty 3000m summits separate you from Spain. Their ascent, without being difficult, requires sporting qualities, endurance, agility and balance. Sometimes the ridge line to the summit is not wide!
