Activity description
Get some altitude as the sun sets on this introduction to rock climbing in the Verdon gorges, with a view over Lake Sainte-Croix!
During the summer, there's nothing like the end of the day to make the most of a sporting activity! Rocksiders offers you an introduction to rock climbing on the limestone of the Verdon gorges on the shores of Lac de Sainte-Croix. You'll be taught belay techniques at sunset, the perfect time to take in the view over Lac de Sainte-Croix and challenge the vertical.
You'll be climbing in a highly accessible area under the supervision of experienced Rocksiders professionals. Your introduction to climbing in the Gorges du Verdon will take place in complete safety, just a stone's throw from the Galetas bridge and overlooking Lake Sainte-Croix.
"Climbing at sunset is great, you can enjoy the last moments of sun above the lake, and what's more, in summer it's a little cooler at that time of day." - Chandra, Rocksiders guide.
