Embark on a stand up paddling tour or rent the equipment independently to discover the beautiful crystal clear waters of Dassia Beach in Corfu!
Corfu is a charming Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, off the northwest coast of Greece's mainland. This activity takes place at the stunning Dassia Beach on the eastern side of Corfu, known for its natural beauty and crystal-clear waters!
For this activity, you can choose to rent the stand up paddleboard equipment on your own for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 hour 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take part in a stand up paddleboarding tour, where a certified instructor will take you to some hidden gems from Dassnia Beach. The adventure begins at the starting point on the beach, where you'll meet the certified instructor.
For the rental, the instructor will provide a quick safety briefing and give you the equipment, including a paddle board, paddle and life jacket. Then, you are free to paddle on the clear waters of Dassnia Beach for the allocated time, before returning the equipment to the starting point.
For the paddleboarding tour, the instructor will provide the equipment and go through paddling instructions. You don't need any previous experience to take part. Once you feel comfortable, you'll begin paddling across the turquoise Ionian Sea. You can choose from two routes, the north route or the south route.
The north route will take you to one of the most beautiful peninsulas which dominates the landscape. You'll pass by small isolated beaches surrounded by cliffs and other coastal landforms. For the south route, you will paddle along the coastline of Dassia Beach and visit a small uninhabited islet which lies a few metres off the coast. At the end of the fun stand up paddling tour, you'll return to the starting point at Dassnia Beach.
