Activity Snapshot
Activity description
The purpose of the PADI Cavern Diver specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of cavern diving. The Cavern Diver course is intended to provide a safe, supervised introduction to diving in natural overhead environments. Takes 4 dives to complete (4 days course) one dive per day.
In the spot you can find rock formations that give shelter to octopuses, moray eels and big shells. On the rocks you can find scorpion fish, starfish, nudibranch and tube worms. Clams and shells lay along the sandy bottom. Caverns, canyons and swim throughs are covered with colourful sponges, corals and small holes that give home to crabs and lobsters.
You can dive in the most beautiful caves in Kefalonia Island (fresh water caves) Zervati - Karavomilos. All dives are logged in your logbook in the end of every dive. For the Advanced Open Water + Cavern Diving activity you will have your PADI certification after successfully completing the course.
