Visit the best spots in Milos and Poliegos with this 9-hour semi-private sailing tour on a Lagoon 440 catamaran. This charter will take you to Kleftiko, Sykia, and Galazia Nera, with the ability to snorkel in the crystal-clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea on the way.
If you wish to see pretty much everything in one day, then this semi-private sailing tour around Milos with a stop at Poliegos’s famous Galazia Nera is perfect for you. You’ll get to do some sightseeing, eat and drink onboard, and swim and snorkel while you admire Greece's awestriking surroundings.
The boat
The Lagoon 440 catamaran is a large vessel, with plenty of comfortable seating, indoors as well as out on deck. The Polco Sailing staff is equipped with all the necessary safety gear, as well as refreshments and snorkel gear for you to enjoy while you cruise the turquoise Greek waters.
Wondering in Milos
Your sailing cruise will start at 9:00 from Adamas. Going around Milos, you will appreciate the views of the Christian catacombs and the charming villages of Skinopi and Klima, where Venus of Milo was found, as well as Areti and Fourkovouni. You will also learn some interesting facts and myths about the island along the way!
You will then continue towards “Arkoudes”, meaning “bears” in Greek, the bear-shaped rocks marking the entrance of the bay to the east. Your next stop will be Glaronisia, meaning the seagull islands.
From there you will set sail to Galazia Nera (Blue Waters) on Poliegos, the largest uninhabited island in Greece. Galazia Nera is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, mainly thanks to the transparent, blue colour of the sea.
Heading west and towards the south of Milos, you will pass by Theiorychia, to gaze at the stunning landscape. Shortly after, you will make a swim stop either at Firligkos or Gerakas, with its unique rock formations and crystal-clear waters.
Finally, you will reach the renowned Kleftiko, which used to be the pirates’ hideout and lair in the Middle Ages. Kleftiko is the most famous spot in Milos, and rightfully so. The white and grey rocks along with the emerald water of the sea create an unreal scenery you do not want to miss. It is also the perfect location for snorkeling, and you will be fully equipped with masks, flippers and GoPro cameras to catch the moment underwater!
When you are done swimming, you will enjoy a delicious homemade meal, refreshments, and ice-cold beers.
Moving on, your adventure will take you to the west of Milos, passing by Sykia cave. Continuing north you will get to admire several inaccessible beaches. What’s more, once you pass Adamas bay, you will stumble upon the 30-meter rock of Vani, and you will enjoy the sunset colours warming your eyes and body. Return at Adamas port at 18:30.
Have fun!
