Santorini is a stunning island located in the southern Aegean Sea, forming part of the Cyclades archipelago in Greece. Renowned for its breathtaking sunsets, dramatic cliffs, whitewashed buildings with blue-domed churches, and crystal-clear waters, Santorini is considered one of the most picturesque destinations in the world. The boat cruise starts at Vlychada Marina, you can meet directly here or you can choose to be picked up from your accommodation (please specify when booking). You have the option of booking a morning or afternoon excursion depending on your preferences. The experienced skipper and crew will welcome you on board the comfortable boat. Then, it's time to set sail into the stunning Aegean Sea!
The journey begins with a sail to the Red Beach, located next to the historical village of Akrotiri, and the White Beach. Both of these locations are named after the iconic coloured cliffs that surround the beaches. You'll stop near these destinations so you can capture some photos. Next, you'll stop at Mesa Pigadia Beach for a swimming break. Swim or snorkel in the beautiful clear blue waters and explore the underwater marine life and rock formations.
You'll pass by the famous Indian Rock and reach the tip of the island, where the Venetian Lighthouse stands as a historic landmark. Marvel at the scenic vistas of the nearby Greek islands and the sparkling Aegean Sea! The captain will sail towards Apronisi Island, cruising close to the caldera coast for captivating views of Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani, Old Port, and Fira.
Continuing the adventure, you'll arrive at the volcanic hot springs, where you can take a dip in the invigorating sulfurous waters. Explore the island of Nea Kameni, where you have the opportunity to snorkel in one of the protected coves. You will indulge in a delectable buffet-style BBQ meal accompanied by refreshing Greek salads, soft drinks, locally produced wines and beers (up to 5 per person) from the open bar on board. The meal consists of BBQ chicken fillet, BBQ shrimp, pan-fried fish fillet, pasta with tomato sauce, vine leaf rolls, tzatziki dips and bread.
If you choose the afternoon cruise, you'll get to experience the mesmerising Santorini sunset! The island is renowned for its magical sunsets, which turn the sky into various shades of pink and red. After the cruise, you'll return to the starting point at Vlychada Marina, and then be dropped back at your accommodation on the island.
