Experience ice climbing in Iceland on the Skaftafell glacier!
Falljökull is located in the Vatnajökull glacier, the largest glacier in Europe. Its snow-covered fields offer a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest snow-capped peak, Hvannadalshnjúkur, which rises to over 2,000 metres! Thanks to its incomparable beauty, the glacier has been used as a backdrop for dozens of films including James Bond and Interstellar, and series such as Game of Thrones.
The adventure begins at the Skaftafell terminal, where your guide will provide you with all the equipment you need: crampons, ice axes, harnesses and helmets. You will then board the "Troll bus" and take a 10-minute ride to the glacier car park. Once off the bus, a 15-minute walk will take you to the edge of the ice where your guide will show you how to put on crampons so you can walk safely on the ice.
Then your adventure begins, and you'll be treated to some magnificent scenery! This unique outdoor activity will give you an experience rich in memories! Have fun following the advice of your expert guide and discover Iceland's natural treasures!

Activity requirements
All participants must be in good health. Minors must have authorization from their parents.
You will meet your guide 30 minutes before departure time at the meeting point, Skaftafell Terminal Tour Center by the main road.
