Activity Snapshot
Activity description
The Archipelago of La Maddalena, a National Park since 1994, consists of numerous islands and islets who are mostly uninhabited.
In this natural paradise there are more than 30 dive sites accessible to divers of all levels. In a relaxed but professional atmosphere, the dive center Areamare will make you discover - in small diving groups -, the most beautiful dive sites of the archipelago whose rocky bottoms are inhabited by a wide variety of sealife.
Sponges, gorgonians, parazoanthus cover and color the rocks that are the home to moray eels, groupers, lobsters, congers, barracudas, octopus and a myriad of other small or big sealife.
Each diving session leaves in the morning or in the afternoon and includes two dives at two different sites. The return is scheduled for lunch time to have the rest of the day to spend with your family or friends or for other touristic activities.
Areamare wants you to have the most relaxing diving experience, and as such when you will arrive at the dive center in the morning you will find your heavy diving equipement already on the boat. All you have to do is relax and enjoy a pleasant morning of diving!
Thanks to the beauty and richness of the region, all dives will be for you an exciting experience, but to make them more enjoyable Areamare excursions always leave with a very limited number of people onboard (even though, with their boats, they could carry a greater number of divers). This way Areamare assures that the boat trips are comfortable and pleasant, and that the dives are never overcrowded.
