Discover the beauty of the Dolomites by gliding over Kronplats, one of the most popular paragliding destinations in South Tyrol.

Your tandem paragliding journey will start by meeting your pilot in Kronplatz. From there you’ll hop on a cable car and reach the top of the mountain, near the ski resorts. After going through the safety briefing and gearing up, you and your instructor will take off from 2275 m. Enjoy the incredible views from above, as you glide gently through the alpine winds. When this incredible 20-35-minute flight comes to an end, your pilot will safely land at 900 m in altitude, in Kronplatz.

Tandem paragliding is a fun-filled and beginner-friendly type of activity: all you have to do is follow your pilot’s instructions and enjoy the flight. They will take care of launching, steering and landing.

My friends and I had a blast doing going paragliding over the Dolomites! Though a bit stand off-ish at first, the instructors turned out to be friendly and experienced gliders with a real love for their area. I felt very safe and had an awesome time. One tip - you have to pay to ride up the cable car, and your ticket is not reusable. I had really wanted to see the photography museum and didn’t realize it was at the top until we were prepping for the flight. I would go ahead and buy your cable car ticket, head up the mountain to check out the museum and the view, and then meet your instructor up there.
