Activity description
SUP is a relaxing sport normally done at the beach, well trying it on river, will surely get the blood pumping!
SUP, short for Stand Up Paddling is an ancient sport born most probably in the Hawaiian Islands. It is said that in the diaries of James Cook, the English explorer, there was proof of natives paddling upright on large boards to ride the waves.
Others believe that the birth of the sport occurred in the 50s in Waikiki, with the rediscovery of surf. Today, SUP is a sport with a lot of success that has developed in many disciplines: from SUP wave, downwind and marathons, yoga, fishing, and for some years also SUP river.
Undoubtedly, SUP is and activity for athletes and people who like to get involved with new challenges, Indomita proposes two activities: beginners and intermediate outings in which you will paddle down a river, something that is not as common as you might think when it comes to SUP.
During the activity the instructor will explain the basic maneuvers and techniques to lead the SUP and then you will descent a stretch of the Adda river.
Approaching the river is not impossible, but it definitely requires some athleticism and some skills to achieve it. You are assured that during the descent you'll fall into the water, but you will laugh and have an amazing time!
This is a great way to accentuate the emotional experience and the fun of an adventure on the river, an already unusual one!

Before each run, the guides will conduct a lecture during which you will learn the controls and basic techniques for conducting a kayak in the river; during the descent however, you will have the opportunity to test your skills.
