Activity description
Welcome to the beautiful Hardangerfjord region! With spectacular views from and on the mountains, wide fjords, massive glaciers and untouched nature, you will experience something unforgettable.
This helicopter sightseeing tour brings you up close to one of the most spectacular glaciers in Norway - the Folgefonna. Situated in the Folgefonna National Park, this glacier has drawn visitors since more than 150 years! You can find icefalls, wild valleys, and much more in this natural beauty.
Here on the Folgefonna Peninsula you have the opportunity for a short helicopter sightseeing tour showing you the best of the region.
You will meet your guide in Aga, on the eastern shore of the Peninsula. After getting familiar with everything, including a safety briefing, you are ready to take off.
You will go straight up the mountain, cross the 9 Brothers Waterfalls before turning around Solnuten, the highest independent rock mountain on the peninsula (about 1500m). Then you'll fly over the Folgefonna and dive down the mountainside to land!
The flight takes about 12 minutes with plenty to see during the ride. Don't miss out on this tour!
