Activity description
Discover the dramatic landscape of Norway with the dog sled activity! Connect with nature and live an amazing experience!
Mushing is the best way to connect with nature and discovering the beauty that Norway has to offer! You will be surrounded by the mesmerizing Norwegian landscape and at the same time dragged by sled dogs.
If you need transportation from Geilo we only take 190NOK extra for the 1.5-hour transportation (total time). If you have your own car you need to plan to drive from Geilo at least one hour before your trip starts. You drive towards Eidfjord, and stop when you are at Halne Fjellstue.
Dogsledding in Hardangervidda will only happen as long as the weather is good enough for the roads to be open and the dogsledding to be safe. You need to know that we might cancel the dogsledding last minute in case of bad weather. We will try to move you to the next day, if that is not possible you get a full refund.
If you are coming from Geilo you need 45 min driving to Halne.

Activity requirements
Please note: Kids under 3 years old can be refused if there is heavy wind or very cold, but all kids can participate. Kids aged 0 - 3 are best situated on the lap of a parent. Please let Geilo Husky know if you have children in this category.
