Location
This activity is run & operated from Sulitjelma in Jakobsbakken and travels into the neighbouring Sulis Mountains. Pick-ups offered from central Bodo (1h 30 min) or Fauske (30 mins).

Meet your guide at the winter cabin in Sulitjelma for this Northern Lights night hike. A once in a lifetime experience in the remote high Arctic, this tour is reputed to be one of the best in Norway - thanks to perfect conditions like a stable inland climate, low light pollution and location over the artic oval - boasting a spectrum of colours you won't see anywhere else! Your adventure will start with a short safety briefing before wrapping up in winter outerwear and snowshoes (provided by the activity operator). Travelling at a casual pace, your guide will take you deep into the woods to a clearing that is the perfect setting for stargazing and enjoying the magic of the world’s most beautiful natural phenomena. If you choose to bring a camera, your guide will be on hand to help you capture the moment. Overlooking a neighbouring lake, you can cuddle up around the fire and enjoy local delicacies before making your way back to town.

Conditions
This tour operates from September-April and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Please dress appropriately with snow boots and warm winter outerwear - extra layers provided on-site.
