Your adventure begins with a meet up at your guides' base in Kopperå, a charming village situated in the municipality of Meråker in Trøndelag county, just about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) west of the Swedish border. The ideal way to reach Kopperå Station is by the scenic Meråker Line railway that runs through the village.

The trip is approximately 1-hour long and drivers will have the opportunity to swap during the ride. The perfect combination of riding as well as sitting back and relaxing, admiring the incredible surroundings at the same time!

Once back at the kennel, your guide will light up the fire, and prepare a warm beverage (coffee/tea) for you, complimented by a delicious homemade cake.

First of all: lovely dogs, who were affectionate, lively but nevertheless very calm and cuddly! The dogs looked very healthy and in excellent shape with shining fur and a lot of drive to work in front of the sled. We worked together to get the dogs ready and took off for a 1hour trip through the stunning snowy landscape. The weather was perfect and the dogs were easy to handle in front of the sled, eager to work and happy to run. Note that you need to be somewhat sporty to help the dogs a bit when the trail leads uphill. After the trip we had the chance to cuddle all of the dogs and enjoyed tea, coffee and cake by the fireplace.

The dog sledding tour was great. We had our own sledge with 6 alaskan huskies. Beautiful dogs. U can lead them or u can sit but it's cold if ur only sitting. We had it very windy hence a lunch break on top of the mountain couldn't really warm u up.

Very well-organized, It was fun both to prepare the sled with the dogs and to ride it. Nice way to enjoy norwegian nature. Also nice gathering afterwards with coffe and sweets. Nice people too!

The activity was so fun, an item to check off the bucket list! It was exciting to drive the dog sleds around such a beautiful landscape. Just be warned, this is a work out! Helping the dogs pull you (and a passenger in your sled) up a hill is tiring, even if you're in good shape. I do hot yoga 6+ times a week and go to the gym 5 days a week & it was hard work, I'm not sure I could've done a whole mushing day, half was enough! :)

The mushing experience was very good, but lasted only 1 hour (far from a half-day)

Superb experience, just maybe too many stops because of other group members.
