Always wondered how freedivers can hold their breath for so long while being underwater? Now you can discover the basics of this incredible sport in a simple and fun half day taster!
We've all been attracted to a sport, and we all been hesitant to jump into it head first. But what if you get all the equipment and after your first day you realize it's not for you. Fortunately for you, if you are not completely sure what freediving is about, but you are interested to know a little bit more, a discover freediving session is for you!
A half day experience will introduce you into the art of breath-hold diving. The discover freediving course is based on a short theory session and extensive pool work or a 2 hours open water session at sea. This way you'll get the perfect introduction to addictive pleasure of freediving. After this amazing day, you're eyes will open to all that freediving has to offer, you'll notice that freediving is not just advanced snorkelling!
If you find out freediving is not really for you, well guess what? This course can be your stepping stone to getting into spearfishing, water polo, synchronized swimming, surfing and more, as it covers much of what you need to know about apnea or breath-holding.
For those who will get completely hooked, the next step is to take an AIDA courses to further practice freediving!
Have a half a day of full introduction to freediving being always guided safely by a certified instructor.
Start your journey into freediving!
After meeting you instructor, you will check in and fill the registration forms. It is recommended to have a light breakfast before meeting with the team.
Then, you will have a short theoretical session in which you will be taught the basics.
After the theory, you will head to the practical part after being equipped.
All participants must be able to swim 50m.
All participants must be at least 18 years old. (16 years-olds must have parent or guardian consent)
