Go along the Remparts River from Saint-Joseph thanks to the rental of a quad and enjoy a day of discovery in total autonomy!
Bourbon Excursions offers you to rent a quad to travel the Remparts River, a deep valley 23 km long and lined, as its name suggests, with ramparts that can reach up to 1,000 meters high. All-terrain vehicles, the quads will allow you to visit the river without much difficulty. You will then go for a ride in autonomy from Saint-Joseph to go up this unique site in Reunion Island for a day!
The guides of Bourbon Excursions will provide you before your departure with an itinerary to follow for your excursion to the Remparts River. You will leave from Saint-Joseph, then go up the river to the village of Roche Plate which you can also visit. You will then return to your starting point at the end of this 8 hours ride with a lot of memories!

- Meeting with the agent in front of the quarry rue A. Lougnon in Saint-Joseph, administrative part (rental documents, deposit, etc.)
- Briefing on the safety rules and attitudes to adopt for the use of the quad
- Departure for 8 hours of quad on a route given by the agent on the site of the river of the Ramparts
- Return to the starting point before 4 pm
Activity requirements
To have a driving license B or B1 (car), OR a license A1, A2, A3 or A (two wheels) obtained before 2013 to drive the quad.
Minimum driver age : 21 years old
Minimum passenger height : 1m40
Special terms
A deposit per rented quad (not cashed) will be requested in the name(s) and surname(s) of the driver: 750€ by cheque or cash.
