Discover the rich marine flora, sea life, and archaeological finds beneath the Cyclops Islands in Acicastello, Sicily, thanks to this scuba diving experience! You can choose to dive during the day or the night, and by boat or by land.
Your underwater adventure takes place at Cyclops Islands Marine Protected Area in Aci Castello, about 20 minutes away from Catania. The reserve was created in order to preserve the unique ecosystem between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas. With a rich diversity of underwater flora and hundreds of species of algae, you'll have a remarkable experience exploring a new world on Earth.
Choose the dive that fits your interests and level! Your certified SSI instructor will make sure that you will have an unforgettable dive that's all about safety first. After a pre-dive briefing where the instructor will shed light on the unique marine environment, the safety rules, and the fundamentals of diving, you will gear up and enter the water. Depending on the dive, you can expect a minimum of 45 minutes up to 2 hours. When it’s time to come back to land, there will be a de-briefing and a small refreshment waiting for you at the port.
