Activity description
Climbing ferrates is extremely safe and at the same time adrenalinick.
There are two via ferratas installed above the village of Mojstrana. Mojstrana is close to some big tourist centres in Triglav national park(Kranjska Gora 10 minutes, Bled 25 minutes, Bohinj 50 minutes). The easy via ferrata is good for families with kids older than 8 years, the hard one is for people with some experience in ferrata climbing. As they cross themselves 4 times you can always choose the way, that suits your needs.
The ferrate is routed in the wall just above the village with a magnificent view of the Julian Alps, the Karavanke massif and the Sava River valley.
Access to entry approx. 10 minutes. You will start at a height of 650m a.s.l. The wall is about 200m high and oriented east. You will learn to use the steep wall. We have5 hours of interesting climbing and about 20min descent.
You need sporty, lightweight clothing and shoes with good grip. It's recommended also a small backpack for wind-jacket and liquid, sweets ... Technical equipment: -Helmet -Climbing harness -Ferrate set -Gloves for ferrates
