Discover the magnificent excursion to the Caminito del Rey, Malaga. You can spend an incredible adventure experience with your family and friends.

Pinned to the side of a rock above the El Chorro gorge, a waist-height railing is all that separates you from the 100m sheer drop below. Once considered the most dangerous walkway in the world, the Caminito del Rey has undergone an impressive makeover – without losing any of its heart-racing appeals. Recently renovated, this iconic gorge has become a bucket-list attraction for the curious at heart. Experience it for yourself on this guided tour from Malaga.

Your guides will pick you up for the guided tour of Caminito del Rey in the El Chorro gorge. Until recently, this vertiginous 7km walkway was considered to be one of the most dangerous after China's infamous Mount Hua Shan. Today, the entire route has been carefully restored, earning it the Europa Nostra Award for heritage conservation and welcoming guests of all ages and abilities.

A combination of suspended walkways pinned 100m along the cliff face, suspension bridges over toe-tingling drops and glass-bottomed viewing platforms – this mountain trail hasn’t lost any of its fear-factor, despite being expertly engineered to ensure the highest international safety standards.

During the course of the tour, you’ll get to learn more about the trail’s spooky history and royal heritage – weaving your way along the contours of the gorge. Our top tip: Don’t forget your camera, this is considered to be one of the best selfie settings anywhere in the world!

This activity is run and operated from Fuengirola, Benalmadena Costa, and Torremolinos and also from the center of Málaga. After the pickup, the bus with the guide leads to the entrance of the Caminito del Rey, near Ardales. The path travels through the Desfiladero de Los Gaitanes Gorge, which is 700 meters deep in total and the Guadalhorce River runs through it.

The route is 8 kilometers long, of which 4.8 are access paths and 2.9 are footbridges/walkways. With a total length of 7.7 kilometers and a maximum height of 100 meters, the route follows a combination of paths, footbridges, and suspension bridges through the Chorro Gorge.
