Discover the gorgeous Sierras Subbeticas Cordobesas Natural Park on this fun and exciting rafting trip down the Genil River!

Just an hour away from the emblematic Costa del Sol, Cordoba, Granada or Jaen and less than two hours away from Sevilla you'll find the Sierras Subbeticas Cordobesas Natural Park.

Karma Turismo Activo invites you to discover this gorgeous natural park in the heart of Andalusia and do some refreshing and exhilarating activity: rafting!

Inside the park, you'll find the charming little town of Benameji, where the Genil River flows by. This river has white-water rapids that are perfect for the sport.

The descent starts from Benameji all the way to Palenciana, where you'll discover wild and hidden treasures amongst the mountains. You’ll be rafting surrounded by exuberant fauna and flora.

You have two options:
Family rafting: rapids class II
Adventure rafting: rapids class III

Make your pick and try out this fun and dynamic activity.

Note: This activity is ONLY available from May to October.

Rapids:
Class II: Straightforward rapids with wide, clear channels.
Class III: Rapids with moderate, irregular waves which may be difficult to avoid. Strong eddies and powerful current effects can be found, particularly on large-volume rivers.

Good fun even in the rain. Well organised. Advertised as Class 3 but no worse than Class 2. Good fun for family adventure.

Nos encantó la actividad porque lo pasamos genial. No obstante, no incluye ni fotos, ni vídeos, ni botella de agua, ni café a pesar de que lo ponía cuando reserve la actividad, no estábamos interesados en el café o el agua, pero sí en tener algún vídeo o foto del descenso, puesto que podía haberme llevado alguna cámara acústica si hubiera sabido que no íbamos a tener ninguna foto. A pesar de que pregunté me comentaron que la empresa no les proporcionaba cámaras y ellos a veces utilizaban las suyas personales. Lo demás como los neoprenos, cascos y chalecos salvavidas para la actividad si lo proporcionaron.
