Activity description
Do you want to escape urban life for a day and immerse yourself in nature? Then this amazing kayak tour of the Stockholm archipelago and the Baltic Sea is calling your name!
The Stockholm archipelago is comprised of 30,000 islands and is located in the tranquil Baltic Sea. Once a trading route for the Vikings, it is now a peaceful escape for many Swedes who want to experience the serenity of nature in this unique landscape. During this excursion, you'll be "island hopping", kayaking between the different islands and discovering the many beautiful places of Stockholm's archipelago.
The day begins in the southern part of Stockholm where you will be shuttled to Dalarö. On your way, you'll relax, admire the scenery, and observe charming red wooden houses that are quintessentially Swedish. Once in Dalarö, your paddling adventure will begin! You'll stop for a well-deserved break on a deserted island at lunchtime. Then it's back on the water! You'll continue kayaking and paddle towards Dalarö toward the initial meeting point.
Exploring the archipelago while kayaking is a truly fantastic way to discover Sweden's diverse wildlife. You'll return to Stockholm refreshed after an unforgettable experience!
