Activity description
Tandem paragliding is a very simple and safe way to enjoy the exciting world from above.
To start your paragliding adventure, all you have to do is take a few steps before floating in the air. Once you're in the air, you can just sit back comfortably and enjoy the stunning views of Davos and its luxuriant panoramas. There's no annoying motor to disturb the immense peacefulness you're going to experience. Complete tranquillity!
You'll have the chance to ask your pilot any questions about the flight or about the history of Davos, he'll be happy to respond. And don't forget to take pictures to immortalise your adventure.
The adventurous ones among you can even take control and steer the glider under the supervision of your expert pilot. If you want, it’s also possible to fly manoeuvres with greater speed and more dynamically. If the weather permits, thermal winds can be used to fly further, higher and longer.
The landing is exactly the same as the take-off, it requires a few steps walking or running. Precise flight briefings will be made before and during the flights. You don't need any prior paragliding experience

Course of events
- Meeting point is at the office of Joyride Paragliding. The paragliding pilots are the only ones who have their office directly next to the cable car. This allows you to store your belongings safely at the base during the flight.
- Then you'll take the cable car with your instructor to get to the take-off site.
- Once there, you'll enjoy a 15 to 30 minute flight over Davos' stunning landscapes, and you'll land near the office!
Activity requirements
Minimum weight: 35kg
Maximum weight: 100kg
The cable car is free for any people staying at a hotel in Davos during the summer season. If you don't stay at a hotel, the price is around CHF 38 per person.
