Enjoy this thrilling activity with a hiking tour in the picturesque Matterhorn next to Zermatt!
The Matterhorn is located south of Zermatt and is the most photographed mountain in the world. The myth and emblem of mountaineers and photographers alike. The brand image and symbol of Switzerland.
For over centuries the Hörnlihutte has been the spot and starting point for hikers and mountaineers from all over the world. Discover this hut at the foot of the Matterhorn and experience the fascination of the world’s famous mountain, the Matterhorn.
You will start your excursion at 09:00 a.m. you will meet your mountain guide at the bottom station of the Matterhorn Express. Then the cable car ride brings you to Schwarzsee, where you will start your hike to the Hörnli hut. At the top, you will enjoy the wonderful view and lunch. Afterwards, you will make your way back to Schwarzsee and come back to Zermatt with the gondola.
Special terms
All participants are responsible for their own insurance (accident insurance, evacuation insurance in the event of accidents).
Please note that for group tours the minimum number of participants must be reached in order for the tour to take place. If this is not the case, you can decide at short notice whether you want to cancel or postpone the tour, or whether you want to do it with a private mountain guide.
