In the valley of the Arve not far from Mont Blanc, the region of Haute Savoie hides treasures such as caves and canyons.
The guide and instructor Matthieu Gilbon is passionate about outdoor activities. He discovered canyoning 20 years ago or so in Sierra de Guara, Spain, and since then he loved it. He traveled all the canyons of France and Europe and stayed in Reunion allowing him to perform long descents.
Caving is the logical continuation of his passion. Following the path of underground water led him to explore many cavities in different massifs of France. Living in Sallanches, he has explored the caves of the Alps for many years with sometimes deep cavities. Specialist of canyoning and speleology, Matthieu will take you on both playful and beautiful courses. He will help you discover the atmosphere and the beauty of the caves and canyons of Haute-Savoie.

The activity provider was great, although he did not speak English very well, so that was a bit difficult at times (we did not speak French). Mostly he explained everything in French and then really short for us in English. I was happy I already had canyoning experience.
