Take your skiing or snowboarding skills to the backcountry and venture deep into the Pirin Mountains in your search for the best lines and rides!

Your full-day backcountry adventure starts in the ski resort of Bankso that’s nestled in the skirts of the majestic Pirin Mountains. You’ll get to explore the endless options of amazing backcountry spots with a certified mountain guide who’s passionate about sharing the hidden gems of the mountain with you!

When you meet your professional guide at the arranged location, you’ll discuss the weather and snow conditions on the mountain before you’ll have a warm-up run where your riding ability can be evaluated. From there, you and your guide will choose the best riding itineraries for the day! You’ll get to choose from a multitude of options such as taking a lift and going on a small hike and ride to the impressive Todorka peak where you’ll tour or ride to another peak, or getting to tour Cherna Mogila peak before gliding down fresh powder in the mountains.

Transfer time to the starting point: from 20 to 40 minutes

Hiking time: Varies between 1-5 hours

Vertical drop: From 700 up to 2000 meters

Terrain difficulty: From mild slopes to open, vertical steep terrain

Itinerario

The day before the tour, your guide will contact you so that you can both discuss the program and details of the tour. You will discuss the needed equipment and the essentials to bring with you on the mountain.

The next day at 8:15 AM, your guide will come and pick you up at your hotel for a short transfer to the starting point (Bansko Gondola Ski Lift). Depending on the current weather conditions, he will lead you to the mountain, helping you to explore your touring and riding skills.

You can expect the end of the day to be around 5:00 PM.

There are a lot of hot mineral springs in the area, so don't hesitate to ask your guide if you're interested in soaking in these soothing natural wonders!

It is mandatory to bring avalanche equipment (transceiver, shovel, & probe) for this activity.

Términos especiales

This tour can be adapted to all riding levels except for beginners.

After booking, please contact your guide if you would like to rent avalanche equipment, ski/snowboard rental, ski passes, transfers from/to Sofia, accommodation in Bankso, evening hot springs visit.
- Avalanche equipment rental: 10.00 EUR per person per day
- Splitboard/Touring ski rental: 40.00 EUR per day

The duration of your trip is dependent on the weather conditions and is approximately from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This activity can be canceled or postponed due to weather conditions.
