Explore the Imbeguet in the Vésubie Valley, a fun canyon with many slides and jumps of up to 7 meters!
The Imberguet canyon is a tributary of the Vesubie river in very narrow gorges in a limestone massif. Renowned in the Alpes-Maritimes in spring, it requires abseiling down waterfalls (18-20m max.).
You meet with your guide at the exit of the village of Plan-du-Var. You gear up and he explains you the different canyoning techniques you need to know before the descent.
After a short approach walk of 5 minutes, you arrive at the canyon in the small town of Utelle.
You start a very steep descent of 3.5 hours with a series of waterfalls, jumps (incl. one mandatory jump of 2 meters), and slides in an exotic atmosphere.
Then you leave the canyon before it flows into the Vésubie. In 5 minutes, you reach the road by a bridge overlapping the sometimes tumultuous waters of this river.
