Excursion de espeleología en la Cova des Coloms, Mallorca

We had a lot of fun exploring the caves and learning more about how they were created. Jumping off the cliff to begin the swim was a great start and the caves are so impressive. If you’re looking for something different definitely try this out! (And bring some lunch with you to enjoy on the beach afterwards.)

Once in a lifetime experience

This was an amazing excursion! The hike was stunning and just the right amount of exercise. The swim to the caves was also farther than expected but it made it a great challenge and definitely not too difficult. The caves were incredible, an u forgettable experience and our guide, Jose, was fantastic.

The caves were amazing. You start the day with a short hike, and then you swim out to the cave entrance. You have to duck under the water quickly to enter the caves, but the guide helps. The inside of the caves are beautiful rock formations and you walk around and swim through various pools of water admiring the rocks.

The caves were epic. We were so impressed with the entire experience.

A lot of fun, jumping into the sea, walking and swimming around in the cave. If you book in advance and remember to pack it, bring a waterproof bag for your phone and/or camera. The tour operators do not take pictures, even if it may seem like picture opportunities are part of it, from the website!

Very nice and thrilling experience!

Only issue was the weather was borderline, and maybe it would have been wiser to cancel or postpone the activity. But nothing happened (although we were exposed to strong currents at the entrance of the cave and near the wall a of the rock).

Very nice tour! our guide was very friendly, and could tell us a lot about this beautiful cave. You have to be a good swimmer to get to the caves and it is a little exciting to get inside the cave, but once you’re there… amazing!!!

La visite des grottes était juste incroyable, jamais fait de spéléologie avant et je referais! pensez à prendre une casquette pour la partie rando ( le soleil tape fort ), et une bouteille d’eau . Les guides étaient vraiment top, là pour nous aider dans les passages un peu étroit. des explications intéressantes, vraiment des passionnés et ça se voyait. En bonus on a eu le droit de sauter depuis la falaise pour arriver dans l’eau ( 4 mètres ).

Der Guide war toll und die Meereshöhle war eine der schönsten die ich je gesehen habe. Die innen liegenden Seen waren atemberaubend und recht kalt ;) Es ist aber auch anstrengend und man sollte fit sein für diese Tour. Es gehört ein anständiger Fußmarsch vor und nach der Tour dazu. Sonenncreme und Wasser nicht vergessen.

Spéléologie, attention il faut être en connaissance de la difficulté physique que cela peut demander ! 40 minutes de randonnée sous 40 degrés puis 300 m e de nage. Se frayer un passage dans les galeries. 300m de nage au retour attention nous avons le poids de l'équipement et nous n'avons pas pieds dans l'eau. Puis de retour de la marche

40 minutes walking, then swim into the cave, I am not a good swimmer so the instructor have a look at me and when I need help, really help me, we go to the sea cave and it's really beautiful, it's a fantastic experience that I don't regret. I was afraid because of my swimming skills, but it was fine at the end of the day

Excellent intimate tour of underwater caves - so many interesting formations. Fun climbing, small jumps. Great and supportive level of adventure

30-40 minute hike to the caves. Bring good shoes to hike in, you will take them off and leave them with your gear bag when you put on the wetsuit. 1 towel per 2 people, sunscreen, a hearty snack, swimsuit, 1 big water bottle should get your through the adventure. You receive a backpack in which you carry your wetsuit, water shoes, and helmet. I carried our own backpack in addition to the gear with our snacks, towel, water, outer layer of clothes and it was bearable. We didn’t go into the big cave because of the wind/waves as it gets too dangerous but we had an excellent time exploring a smaller sea cave and a land cave. It was well worth the price, excellent adventure! Also, my wife and I both wore our glasses inside the sea cave since there were no waves crashing in and your head does not need to go underwater.

This was a very unique experience that I will never forget. It was definitely challenging physically, so I do recommend being in some sort of physical shape to hike and swim before partaking in this activity. Otherwise, it really was a very cool way to see the caves and get a true hands on experience.

The acrivity was really nice! We loved all the information provided and the hike towards the beach was very nice as well.

Merveilleux. J'avais des appréhensions mais les monitrices ont été extraordinaires. C'est une aventure à la Koh Lanta. C'est challengeant mais en étant peu sportive, j'ai pu le faire. Les monitrices sont incroyables et ont su m'accompagner pour dépasser mes peurs. au final c'est l'une de experiences les plus incroyable de ma vie !

Les concrétions sont absolument magnifiques, l'accès par la côte puis la mer rendent l'activité variée et vraiment chouette!

A worth-to-do activity. The caves were extraordinary!

We went on a nice hike towards the caves and had around 1h in total within the cave itself. To get there you could either jump a cliff or swim. Once inside there's a bit of climbing around and very cold water. It was really exciting.

The cave is really beautiful, you get there by a 35 minutes walk in the middle of nowhere, walking on red ground through small bush, with a nice sea view. At Cala Falcò you can either swim all the way (10 minutes) to the cave or walk 1 minute, jump an easy 4 meters in the water and swim 5 minutes to the cave. There, you should just be quiet, possibly silent and enjoy the beauty.

Caves were amazing- definitely worth a visit. Walk was quite draining on a very hot day.

Started with a lovely walk to a cove near the cave, then a short swim to the cave entrance. The cave is spectacular inside, and our guide Jose was entertaining and knowledgable. The tour was long enough to allow us plenty of time to explore, and never felt rushed.

Magnifique balade. La marche de 40min en vaut le coup d’œil. Superbe. Magique.

Après une quarantaine de minutes de marches, baignade pour accéder à la grotte. Et là, c'est un émerveillement à chaque salle. De très belle concrétion, un beau résumé de ce que l'on peut trouver dans une grotte du point de vue géologique. Avec en plus des passages dans une eau cristalline et fraiche.

Cova de Coloms exploration was an excellent adventure especially for someone who wants to discover Mallorca in a different and extreme kind of way. It is perfect for someone who prefers diving from cliffs and/or swimming through the sea rather than lying all day at a hotel by the pool. In the cave there is o lot of fun activities too. You can see all the formations from just a hands reach away, make pictures of all the beautiful stalactites and dive into internal lakes. Everything is in complete darkness if you switch light off - you can never experience this in typical commercial, touristic caves!!
