Gyrocopter flight over the Pyrenees, near Pau

Fly over the landscapes of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in an original way thanks to the autogyro, a light aircraft resembling a helicopter.

The gyrocopter, class 4 mycrolight, is a hybrid aircraft between an aeroplane and a helicopter. Also known as a gyrocopter, it is ideal for leisure flights. It is therefore quite natural that the Volpy base has decided to offer gyrocopter flights to admire the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region from the air!

Departing from the Mondaut ultralight base in Vielleségure, not far from the town of Pau, you will take off alongside a qualified and experienced ultralight pilot. You will have the choice between a 30 minute, 50 minute or one hour flight depending on your wishes! The itineraries vary according to the weather, and you will have the opportunity to fly over different landscapes in the region around Pau: the fortified city of Navarrenx (voted one of the most beautiful villages in France), the Gave d'Oloron valley, the Pyrenean mountains, the Aspe valley, the Kakuetta Gorges, the town of Mauléon, and many others!
