Hot Dog / Canoe-Rafting down the Gave de Pau from Villelongue, Hautes-Pyrénées

Canoe-rafting down the Gave de Pau in pairs with a friend, relative or soul mate is the perfect way to share a thrilling experience in the heart of the Hautes-Pyrénées. Guided by an instructor who will be at your side in his or her own boat, you will have to work out how to coordinate with your partner to get through the class 2 and 3 rapids on this stretch of river between Argelès-Gazost and Cauterets without too much difficulty. You won't escape the waves and a good splash, but you might also fall into the water if you don't manage to manoeuvre your hot dog properly!

Your cano-raft trip down the Gave de Pau will take around 2 hours, starting from Villelongue, less than an hour's drive from Tarbes and Pau. You will leave from Tom Rafting's base, which is a 10-minute walk from the river and has showers, changing rooms and even a picnic area for your convenience. Fully equipped with all the necessary gear, you will board your inflatable hot-dog and enjoy a fantastic half-day!
