About the activity

Discover the Devil's Peak and all t has to offer with this 4 hour hiking excursion.

This is the perfect excursion for those of you looking for a stunning view over, Table Mountain, Lion's Head, City Bowl, Table Bay, Robben Island, and Northern and Southern Suburbs and False Bay area.

This spot is only 84 metres lower than Table Mountain’s highest point and on a clear day the 180° view is outstanding. There are various paths up this peak, which is why you need an expert guide like Irene.

When you look towards Table Mountain, Lion's Head is the small peak on the right and Devils Peak is the larger peak on the left.

The route starts at Tafelberg Road at the Saddle Path. You'll enjoy a gradual walk with switch backs (zig-zags) up to Breakfast rock that is situated in the Saddle between Table Mountain and Devils Peak.

From here the route is fairly steep to a second saddle where you'll swing right for the last steep haul to reach the top. From each of the three survey beacons, the views are different and well worth the effort!

You can descend via the same route or via an alternative route.
