Sortie hyper intéressante avec Vivien qui nous a donné une mine d'informations sur tout ce qui nous entourait (faune, flore, coutumes, origines polynésiennes, etc)

The guide is French Polynesia's Adam Sandler!!! He's also real knowledgeable about local flora and fauna.

Vivien notre guide nous a fait découvrir son île, sa langue et la nature ! Il est passionné et passionnant, attentif à tous les membres du groupe et prevenant! C’était un moment tres riche et de partage! Nous avons bien rigolé et l’ambiance était géniale grâce à Vivien et son fils Manava !!

After spending over two weeks in French Polynesia, I can say confidently that kayaking and visiting the Marae with Vivien was the best tour and guide experience we've had on the islands. His attention to detail, warmth, patience, good humor, and breadth of knowledge was refreshing andade for a wonderful excursion.

We were lucky in that we were the only people aside from him and his youthful companion, whom he was teaching the ropes of guiding. He was very knowledgeable about all the flowers and plants along the river, and very funny as well. At one point we even heard a river resident playing the ukulele, which provided an added touch of magic. It is clear that Vivien loves what he does and that he wants others to love the river, too. We also enjoyed learning about his daily life in Raiatea, and he was very patient with all of our questions! We left our delightful morning feeling much more connected to the island, energized and ready for the rest of our day. Highly recommended!
