AfriCanyon River Adventures was formed in order to share a multi-part canyoning route, which lies in the hidden valleys of The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route.

New to it or a seasoned canyoneer all clients are kitted up with high spec safety equipment. Professional guides ensure that every person experiences this canyoning adventure with the highest regard to safety. AfriCanyon River Adventures provides their clients with a guided excursion through the indigenous terrain that would otherwise remain inaccessible, undiscovered and unknown.

AfriCanyon’s Senior River Guides have attained accredited Canyoning qualifications and put into practice a series of safety protocols. They assure you that you are in safe hands. Whether you have done this type of thing before or are a complete novice, with them you can do it!

An adventurer and explorer by nature, founder Rogan Hindmarch has explored this river with his sons and friends for many years. With over 10 years of Mountain Search and Rescue experience and over 30 years rock climbing experience, he ensures that the AfriCanyon team will guide you through this outdoor adventure, with safety top priority.
