Die besten Wandern Aktivitäten in Terceira

First of all, we were equipped well, even rain coats provided which I didn’t expect. I booked via internet and in the confirmation was told to bring various things. However, we were told to leave all belongings on the office, which somehow didn’t make too much sense, but it’s also no problem. We went out on a small boat, the tour was nice if you love being on the water and don’t mind wind and sprays (if so, why do a boat trip at first place). During the tour we saw two large groups of two resident dolphins, which was truly a memorable experience. However then we turned back towards to coast and returned. So, no whales… I know it’s nature we need to be grateful to what nature shows us, but we didn’t have the feeling, they even tried to find other species. Also, the guides on the boat were interns, marine biology students. They were very friendly, but almost gave no information, which was really unfortunate. Until lunch we had to wait a full hour, which is no problem since there’s a nice bar at the harbor. Food at the restaurant was a typical menue of the day. That day it was chicken. Obviously if was nice, but being vegetarian…. at least there was rice with the chicken. The service was rude and we for once didn’t feel welcomed. The trio in the afternoon was very nice. Same guides, different skipper, who made a lot of effort to make sure we had a good experience. The island is a small gem many don’t recognize. Happy to have done this tour, too.

The activity was good though the wet suits didn't do quite enough for the unusually cold waters, and the total duration was roughly half the time we expected.
