Learn how to stand up paddle in La Santa, Lanzarote! For 1, 3 or 5 days you will learn how to handle a stand up paddle board and you will be able to paddle around the northwest of Lanzarote and even learn how to make turns!
Lanzarote is the westernmost island of the Canary Islands, also known as the island of 1000 volcanoes because of its volcanic landscape. Especially the impressive Timanfaya National Park, one of Spain's 15 geological national parks of 5000 hectares, will transport you directly to the moon or Mars with its red earth. But Lanzarote also has some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands if you are looking to swim or enjoy the waves of the Atlantic such as La Francesa beach or Papagayo beach, not only beautiful for its turquoise waters and white sand, but also for the strong contrast with the black sand and volcanic formations.

We are talking about paddle surfing, a sport created in Hawaii in 1960 by surfer John Zapotocky and an ideal sport for those who do not want to give up physical activity in the hottest months and at the same time go sightseeing and enjoy beautiful views of the beach. Paddle surfing consists of standing on a board and moving around with a paddle, great for working all the muscles in your body without impact as it requires balance and arm strength is essential.
